Official Sweepstake Rules PRIZE The prize is $1000 in DVD's to be awarded by Jagged Mind Media Inc. Jagged Mind Media Inc (herein known as "JMM") is the parent company of FreebiePeople.com. The approximate value of this prize is $1000. JMM may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at their discretion. Prizes are not transferable. Any taxes, duty or extra fees are the responsibility of the winner. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, except as provided by the manufacturer. HOW TO ENTER Entries may be submitted directly through the FreebiePeople.com website or through participating affiliate sites via coregistration. A confirmation process is required to become a subscriber of the FreebiePeople.com newsletter. Only confirmed subscribers of the FreebiePeople.com newsletter are eligible to win. Unsubscribing from the FreebiePeople.com newsletter removes the entrant's eligibility to win. It is completely free to subscribe to the FreebiePeople.com newsletter. ELIGIBILITY The sweepstake is only eligible to subscribers of the FreebiePeople.com newsletter who are residents of the United States or Canada, excluding Quebec and where prohibited by law, who are 18 years of age or older and not employees of JMM, JMM sponsors or JMM affiliates and their families. Only one sweeps entry is allowed per person and is limited to one entry per household. WINNER SELECTION A sweepstake winner is declared if a random daily winning number drawn by JMM matches one of a sweepstake entry. Winners will be notified by email within 31 days of their prize number being selected randomly as a winner. Only the original recipient of that email is eligible to win. Winners will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability, which must be returned to JMM's designated address within 31 days of the initial contact. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize. JMM is not responsible for late, misdirected or damaged communication of any kind including computer failure. All decisions are final. The odds of a winning number being drawn are 1 in 100. A list of winners shall be available by sending a written request to Jagged Mind Media Inc. c/o contest winners, PO Box 512, Station Orleans, Ottawa, Ontario, K1C 1S9, Canada. By accepting the prize, winners agree that JMM, its directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and shall hold all such parties harmless against damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes or participation in this sweepstakes. OTHER CONDITIONS Entry to the contest constitutes permission to post winners’ names and hometown address for purposes of advertising without further compensation by JMM. By entering your e-mail address and leaving the opt-out boxes checked, or by checking opt-in boxes, you have agreed to receive information by mail or email from JMM, affiliated sites and sponsors according to JMM's FreebiePeople.com privacy policy which can be viewed at http://www.freebiepeople.com/privacy.cfm. JMM reserves the right to suspend or cancel the sweepstake without notice to contest entrants and are not responsible to select a winner on any given day in the event of technical or equipment failures such as telephone network lines failing, computer online systems failing, servers and/or provider services go down, or human error in connection with the sweepstakes, etc. JMM may disqualify or prohibit entrants from participating in the sweepstakes for any reason at JMM's discretion and without notice.
